We learn by doing. If something is unpleasant or uncomfortable, we don’t do it for long. Your mind set is to “have fun” talking to people and seeing how they respond to your “mind opening” question. Here are some suggestions:

• “Here’s a tax tip for you.”

Recently as I bought my groceries I had coupons to give to the cashier. I handed her my coupons with my tax secret card. Thinking I had made a mistake, she started to give me back the card and I said, “No, that is a tax saving tip for you.” She looked at the card and said: “Wow, Thank you!” Customize the following 8½ x 11 sheet of “cards”, print them and cut them apart. (If you don’t know how to do this, let me know and we’ll make the invitations for you.) Give them out everyday. Register with me that you are passing them out. If you can’t follow up with the person and they contact me, I will know to place the business with you: I will do everything I can to see that you are compensated.
